The home is a 100-year old rustic log cabin that has a large modern addition opening out to wrap around decks that where you can watch the wildlife and enjoy the view. The updated family room had vaulted ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. The kitchen is newly upgraded and well equipped for family-style cooking. The den has a large TV and foosball table to keep everyone entertained after a day of sightseeing and hiking.

Private, secluded and quiet. At the edge of Custer and near hiking, biking, horse trails, the Mickelson Trail, Golf course, fishing lake. Within 7-20 miles of Custer State Park, Needles highway, Mt. Rushmore National Monument, Jewel Cave National Monument, Wind Cave National Park, Sylvan Lake, Stockade Lake, Bismark Lake, Legion Lake.

Amenities

4 bedrooms, 2 baths, with large central living room with floor to ceilng stone fireplace, just off the open kitchen. There is a large wraparound deck off the dining area overlooking the peaceful hilside where whitetail deer graze in the early mornings and evenings.

This home has been recently updated inside and out yet has kept some of the original features such as the vintage pine floors in the family room which add a woodsy feel to the home. The home has room for everyone with space to spread out.

Bedrooms

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is on the main level and has a large log queen-sized bed. This room has a private bath with walk-in shower with custom stone floor and has a claw footed soaking tub.

Fourth Bedroom

The fourth bedroom is on the upper level and has a full sized bed which is set back in a cozy alcove.

Second Bedroom

The second bedroom is on the upper level, a half flight up from the main level. It has a queen sized bed

TV Room/Den

This large room is a mainly used as the TV room and has a adequate comfortable seating for a group of 8 but can also serve as an additional sleeping area with a queen sized sofabed.

Third Bedroom

The third bedroom is on the upper level also, and has two twin beds. There is also a twin sized trundle bed under one of the beds.

Bunkhouse Room

The bunkhouse room is in the basement level just off the game room. It has good outside light from the large windows. This large room is available upon prior arrangement only and has beds for an additional 7 guests--One queen bed, bunk bed with twin top and full sized bottom, one twin daybed, one twin trundle bed.
